Sunshine on a beautiful day, First ride in two weeks

With the weather challenges of the past 2 weeks this was my first ride. That is not how i planned things but hey riding in the pouring rain does not sound like my cup of tea.

This was only a short ride as I had another commitment with a kid I have been mentoring for the last few months.

I have noticed that I am getting more and more confident on the bike and automatically turning off indicator with out even thinking about it. So many time since I started to ride i have either forgotten that i need to turn it off or missed it and hit the horn omg scaring the fk out of myself.

It was a great feeling just to get out today I felt so relaxed on the monster and I fine myself feeling like it is becoming an extension of me. Is that weird ?

Still having issues with tight right-hander’s I fine myself over balancing back to the left and causing me to feel nervous like I am about to fall off. this all stems from back when i was 18 i am pretty sure. I came off my first time riding a dirt bike in the hill surrounding sydney on some trails, When i came off the clutch to hard as i was coming out of a corner, Bike went one way and i the other. Just remember waking up on the ground in some shrubs and then after checking myself over i couldn’t get the bike started again due to broken kick lever. I pushed it back the 3-400meters back to where every else was. It scared me enough to make me not try and ride any bike again for a while… just shy of 20 years.
